EduMate ("EduMate," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by EduMate, a company registered in Singapore. We provide an AI-powered personal tutoring platform. By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, or otherwise using our service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 13 years of age (users under 18 represent that they have obtained parental or guardian consent); (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.
Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using our service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
EduMate provides an AI-powered tutoring platform that offers real-time conversational tutoring in subjects including mathematics, English, physics, and chemistry. This service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered over the internet.
This service uses third-party AI model providers. Our primary AI tutor is powered by DeepSeek. We also use the Creem Moderation API for content safety filtering of user input. Service performance and availability may be affected by these providers' operational status. Significant interruptions will be promptly communicated to users.
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. If you discover unauthorized use, contact us immediately at security@edumate.ai.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. Users under 18 confirm that they have obtained parental or guardian consent.
We offer subscription plans to access our service. Current plan details and pricing are available on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time.
All payments are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake and is not stored on our servers.
Automatic Renewal: By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize EduMate to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription. Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.). Tax amounts, if applicable, will be added at checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
Cancellation takes effect immediately. You will receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will occur after cancellation.
Account data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Due to the immediate delivery nature of our digital service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except in the following cases:
Consumed AI credits and usage are non-refundable as the service has been delivered. To request a refund, contact refunds@edumate.ai with your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request.
If you believe there is a billing error, please contact us at billing@edumate.ai before initiating a dispute with your bank. We commit to responding within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
Your Content: AI-generated content created through your inputs ("Output Content") belongs to you. You may use Output Content for any lawful purpose consistent with these Terms.
Your Input License: By submitting content to our service ("Input Content"), you grant EduMate a limited, non-exclusive license solely for providing the service to you. We will not use your Input Content for AI model training without your explicit consent.
AI Output Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI output before relying on it.

Your use of this service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by Waffo Pancake (PCI-DSS compliant) and is not stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted.
This service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or AI output accuracy.
AI Content Warning: AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not use it for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify with qualified professionals before taking action based on AI content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduMate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. If we terminate service for reasons not caused by your breach, you will receive a prorated refund for unused prepaid service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@edumate.ai.
